Discovery calls that convert

Selling Services

If sales make you tense, this is the training that gives you a structure you can follow. In 90 minutes, Jo Wood and Zoe Whitman walk you through the full sales journey a bookkeeper actually needs: from mindset and positioning, through discovery calls and stating your price, right through to onboarding and referrals.

No pressure tactics. No “scripted” personal. Just a professional process you can complete.

This is for you if...

  • You freeze when it’s time to say your price
  • You get stuck in “nice chat” mode and struggle to move the call forward
  • You want to sell packages with confidence
  • You want clients who stay, respect your boundaries and refer you

Learn to...

  • Replace “icky sales” with sales as a service
  • Position yourself as a strategic partner (not a task-ticker)
  • Package your services so pricing gets easier
  • Turn warm leads into sales conversations without being pushy

What our Members Say...

The right people

I’ve learnt that confidence grows when you’re surrounded by the right people. Before joining, I was scared to take discovery calls and convinced I wasn’t good enough. Now I’m showing up consistently, quoting properly, onboarding clients I’m excited to work with and even subcontracting for an accountancy firm. I couldn’t have gained this level of clarity, confidence and structure without The Collective.

– Jo

Life changing

Being part of The Bookkeepers’ Collective has been genuinely life-changing. It has accelerated my growth more than any course or qualification ever could. I’ve learnt to believe in myself far more than I ever did — in my skills, my decisions and the value I bring to clients — and that confidence has completely reshaped how I run my practice and support the people I work with.

– Trudie

My own pace

There is so much help and guidance that you are not taught when you train as an accountant or bookkeeper – they just don’t teach you the practice management side.

I love the way I can work through all the programmes on Thinkific at my own pace, as I run a busy practice and don’t always have time for the live sessions.

– Yvonne

You have questions, we would too...

What is The Bookkeepers’ Collective?

The Bookkeepers’ Collective is our membership for bookkeepers who want to grow a premium practice with better clients, stronger pricing, clearer systems and ongoing support. You get access to all training collections, plus coaching and community.

What exactly do I get when I join The Bookkeepers' Collective?

You’ll get access to the full training library (including the Sales Collection), plus ongoing support through live training, coaching, accountability and a space to ask questions in the member community. Read about everything you get when you work with us.

Is the Sales Collection available on its own?

The Sales Collection is included inside The Bookkeepers’ Collective. It’s one of the training collections within the membership, not a separate add-on.

How do I access the training?

As soon as you checkout, you’ll get access to the members’ area where all collections, courses and resources are organised for you. This is hosted on our course platform, Thinkific and can be accessed on your computer or via an app on your mobile phone. Live training sessions are hosted on Zoom.

I hate selling. Will this make me feel cringe?

No. We don’t teach pressure tactics. The approach is “sales as service”: clear structure, good questions, confidence, and letting the right clients self-select.

I’m newly qualified / not confident yet. Is it too early?

Not at all. If anything, learning how to position and package yourself early stops you defaulting into low-fee, hourly “admin” work that’s hard to escape later.

I’m already busy — how much time do I need?

You can move at your own pace. Many members watch the on-demand training in small chunks (evenings/weekends). The live sessions in The Bookkeepers’ Collective take place 3 times per week, but if you can’t make something live you can catch the replay.

How much time do I need to commit each week?

Training is self paced through on-demand videos and resources and members who get the best results dedicate 60-90 minutes per week to learning. Live sessions take place on Mondays 10am-11am, Wednesdays 10am-11am and Fridays 10am-11:30am with replays available where appropriate.

Is there live support, or is it just videos?

There’s ongoing live training and coaching and an active community, so you’re not doing this alone.

What happens in the live sessions?

Our sessions take a set format each week. Monday 10am-11am is an expert session with a guest expert. This might be a software training, or a deep dive on pricing, marketing, a technical update or a topical session around business strategy. Wednesday 10am-11am is reserved to teach our core programme, The Success Programme live, taking you through the full CPD accredited training a week at a time over the course of six months. Friday 10am-11:30am is a Community Call. This is an opportunity to get accountability for an activity you need to do for the business in a co-working setting. The first part of this session is reserved for member networking and course updates once per month to introduce new members and share latest news.

Is there support if I get stuck?

Yes, we have a dedicated Member Success Coordinator who runs drop in sessions and can offer 1-1 troubleshooting calls if you need additional support.

What’s the difference between the Sales Collection and the Pricing Collection?

Sales is about the conversation (discovery calls, positioning, handling price confidently, follow-up, onboarding).
Pricing is about the structure and strategy behind what you charge (your packages, boundaries, and “Gold Standard” approach). They work best together.

Will this get me clients?

We’ll help you build the foundations that lead to clients: positioning, packages, marketing, sales structure and delivery. Results depend on your actions, consistency and implementation, but the goal is a practice you can sustain, not short-term hustle.

What if I'm already busy with clients?

That’s often when the Collective is most useful, to help you improve workflows, raise standards, offer more, package properly and stop leaking time and money.

Is this relevant if I'm not in the UK?

The principles (packages, boundaries, confident sales conversations) are universal. Some examples may be UK-leaning, but the strategy translates wherever you run your practice. We have Bookkeepers’ Collective members in the USA, Ireland and the UK.

Your pricing is in GBP, can I pay in another currency?

Yes. Please email members@6figurebookkeeper.com for alternative currency options. We charge sales tax in line with the rules for your location, so if you’re outside of the UK, we’ll adjust your invoice accordingly.

What's the best-value way to join The Bookkeepers' Collective?

The Bookkeepers’ Collective is a 12 month commitment of £199+VAT per month. The best value option is to pay in full for the year, at £1,990+VAT giving you two months for free.

Is there a minimum term?

The Bookkeepers’ Collective is a 12-month commitment. That gives you the runway to build proper change (pricing, packages, sales, marketing and delivery systems). Many of our members stay for years.

I'm an accountant, is this relevant for me?

Yes. Many of our members are accountants. What brings our community together is a shared ambition and a shared way of working: people who want to build a modern, values-led practice with better clients, clearer boundaries, and a business that supports their life (not the other way around).

I need to know more before joining, can I talk it through?

Absolutely, just book a no-obligation call.
